Position: Research Associate (RA)
Number of Positions: 1 (One)
Project Name: “Intellectual Property & Technology Management (IP & TM)” under the NAIF scheme.
Duration: Till March 2025
Work Location: ICAR-NRRI, Cuttack
Remuneration:
₹49,000/- + HRA (for Master’s degree holders)
₹54,000/- + HRA (for Ph.D. holders)
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
For Master’s Degree Holders:
A Master’s degree in Agriculture or related discipline or Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
4-5 years of Bachelor’s degree with 1st division.
Minimum 3 years of research experience and one published research paper in an SCI/NAAS-rated (≥4.0) journal.
For Ph.D. Holders:
Ph.D. in Agriculture (relevant subject) or Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Desirable Qualification
1-2 years of experience in relevant fields like IPR portfolio management or technology transfer.
Age Limit
Maximum 40 years for men and 45 years for women (as of the date of the interview).
Age relaxations apply as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Job Responsibilities
Managing Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) portfolios.
Drafting Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for commercialization.
Conducting ITMC meetings and filing applications with regulatory agencies.
Preparation of reports and fund management.
