There are two hundred eighty-four vacancies available for the position of Lower Division Clerk/ Recovery Clerk and Junior Stenographer at the Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC).

GSSC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The educational qualifications, and age limit required for GSSC recruitment are detailed below.

(1) Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Recovery Clerk

• Educational Qualification:
  • Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification/diploma from a recognized institution.
  • Knowledge of computer applications with a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English.
  • Knowledge of Konkani (essential); and Marathi (desirable).
• Experience: One year in government or private establishments employing at least five people.

• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.

(2) Junior Stenographer

• Educational Qualification:
  • Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent diploma.
  • Shorthand speed of 100 words per minute and typing speed of 35 words per minute.
  • A minimum three-month certificate course in computers.
  • Knowledge of Konkani (essential); and Marathi (desirable).
• Experience: One year in relevant work.
• Age Limit: Same as LDC.

Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
